Ahmed Fonyonga

Mr. Ahmed Bobga Fonyonga is an open-minded technocrat with pragmatic ability inspired by an innovative quest for the green economy, working in the consulting firm of Business International Consultants. Following a brief prior professional stint as Ambassador for TrekSecure International, Inc., Africa, in May 2020, shortly after the onset of the COVID-19 global pandemic, he was placed in charge of negotiating with various government ministers to enhance safer travel globally. In this capacity, he leveraged TrakSecure’s software to monitor and report data on the detection and spread of COVID-19 and other contagious diseases at various ports of entry, including airports, hotels, hospitals, and immigration entry posts. This unique experience has given him an in-depth understanding of the highest security standards in data collection and reporting.

Mr. Fonyonga possesses a versatile background, having worked across various industries. He previously served as a consultant for Fly Global Airline’s private fleet, Middle East Airlines. There, he was in charge of negotiating the leasing of aircrafts such as Boeing 300-777, Airbus 320, Boeing 800-737 and ATR42 to ensure compliance with AOC and FOC international standards and strict adherence to IATA regulations.

He also served as a consultant for Accurate Business Consulting Services (ABCS), sourcing project financing from diverse financial organizations worldwide for multiple private projects. Mr. Fonyonga has played a major leadership role in green economy projects, including renewable energy conception, implementation, cost-effective management, and leading a talented dedicated team of engineers.

An avid sports fan, Mr. Fonyonga fittingly began his long career about 22 years ago with Sports Management worldwide (SMWW), where he trained as a FIFA athletic agent and served as a personal trainer and coach. He also worked for International Football Federation for History and Statistic (IFFHS) in Zurich, Switzerland, where he had the unique opportunity to collaborate with about 209 football federations worldwide, managing data and statistics around the world’s best players’ rankings, clubs, and the development of sustainable youth sports.

I would have to say sports! The saying “Teamwork makes the dream work” is no truer than in the context of sports, but that philosophy applies to every arena of human performance. I like to work with what I call the championship mindset – winning in life and business and helping others do the same motivates me.
